The Vaillant VR 70 is a wiring centre that controls a two-zone system or less. For 3 zone systems, a VR71 will work.

See the attached add-on options document to choose the best combination for your requirements. 

The VR 70 will work as follows:

• The main wiring centre for a VRC 700.


• A secondary wiring centre for the sensoCOMFORT†

For the VR 70 to work with the sensoCOMFORT a VR 71 must be used as the primary device to control the first 3 zones, the VR70 controls the possible 4th and 5th zones. The sensoCOMFORT RF cannot control more than 3 zones so it cannot be used with the VR70.
